While women are welcome to take any and all classes available at M3 Fight and Fitness, we recognize that many prefer to workout solely in the company of other like-minded females. For them M3 Fight and Fitness is pleased to offer our Women Only program. We offer several opportunities throughout the week to train BJJ and Thai Kickboxing in a testosterone-free environment.
These classes are indeed marked by a different vibe and atmosphere. While the workouts are intense, there is none of the inevitable macho posturing or worry over a bigger, stronger male training partner accidentally hurting you. Manly grunts are replaced by the occasional giggle and supportive cheer… all while toning up your entire body. But if you think you won’t be learning anything practical in these classes, think again! Several of our women have been known to strike fear in the minds of the men when training in our mixed-gender programs.
At first glance, Muay Thai Kickboxing doesn’t look much different than a your typical kickboxing class at any fitness gym. But a closer look reveals real serious skills being taught. There’s punches, knees, elbows, kicks, clinch-work and even throws to inflict damage and knock out opponents. Muay Thai workouts develop cardio, speed, strength, agility, power, and overall coordination and best of all, training Muay Thai is FUN!
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, also known as BJJ, is a grappling art that you ABSOLUTELY MUST KNOW if you ever find yourself in a self-defense situation or a fight. That’s because over 80% of all violent situations will end up on the ground. BJJ provides you with the tools to increase your chances of skillfully escaping dangerous situations with minimal damage… even if you are much smaller and weaker than your attacker!
